SRI RAMANUJACHARYA

Yadavaprakasa did not like Ramanuja coming up and wanted to kill him. So he made a plan along with his other disciples to take a pilgrimage (holy tour) and on the way kill Ramanuja and go to Ganga and get rid of the sin.

On an auspicious day all the students with Yadavaprakasa started the holy tour. After a few days, when they reached the vindhya mountains in central India, Yadavaprakasa decided that it was the right time to kill Ramanuja and started acting on his plan. Somehow Ramanuja's cousin came to know about this plan and told Ramanuja to escape. Ramanuja immediately took the advice of his cousin and ran inside the forest.

Yadavaprakasa and the other disciples started searching for Ramanuja and Govinda also acted as if he did not know anything about this. After some time they concluded some animal would have killed Ramanuja and continued their pilgrimage.

WE WOULD LIKE TO INFORM YOU ALL THAT WE HAVE A NEW MEMBER TO OUR PATASHALA.  HE IS VIDWAN. SRI. NARAYAN.  HE IS OUR NEW PRINCIPAL CUM MANAGER WHO IS GOING TO TAKE CARE OF OUR STUDENTS’ EDUCATIONAL NEEDS.  HE HAS AN EXTENSIVE KNOWLEDGE IN SANSKRIT AS HE HAS WORKED FOR ACADEMY OF SANSKRIT RESEARCH IN MELUKOTE FOR AROUND 15 YEARS.

INFO ON OUTDOOR STUDENTS : WE HAVE SENT THREE OF OUR STUDENTS TO DIFFERENT PLACES TO LEARN ARCHAKA DUTIES PRACTICALLY FOR 6 MONTHS ON ROTATION. WE HAVE CHANGED FEW STUDENTS TO REPLACE THE ONE IN THE TEMPLE AND THERE ARE SOME NEW TEMPLES TOO.  ONE OF THEM IS CHETHAN, WHO IS IN CHENGALPET, CHENNAI. HE IS SINGLE HANDEDLY PERFORMING SRI MANAVALA MAMUNI UTSAVAM ON 4TH NOVEMBER, 2016. ANOTHER STUDENT BALAKRISHNA IS IN MALLESWARAM, BANGALORE, ASSISTED BY OUR NEW STUDENT LAKSHMINARAYAN.  WE HAVE ONE MORE STUDENT NITESH IN MALLESWARAM TEMPLE AS THERE IS BRAHMOTSAVAM GOING ON. OUR SENIOR MOST STUDENT NAMED BALAJI IS IN GUBBI, ASSISTED BY NARASIMHACHAR. 

WE HAVE BEEN SEVERELY FACING SHORTAGE OF SPACE FOR STUDENTS’ STAY & LOOKING FOR ALTERNATIVE ARRANGEMENTS.  WE WILL BE HAPPY IF SOMEONE COMES FORWARD TO HELP US TO BUILD THE NEWLY PROPOSED BUILDING. PLANS & ESTIMATES ARE READILY AVAILABLE WITH US & CAN BE SENT ON REQUEST.  DONATION IN KIND OR CASH IS APPRECIABLE.

HOLY ACTIVITIES : 1. SRI RAMAYANA – SUNDARAKANDA PARAYANAMA BY SRI JEEYAR SWAMY IS IN PROGRESS UPTO 16-11-2016.  2) CELEBRATED DIWALI IN ASHRAM BY LIGHTING DIYAS, ALANKARAM & POOJA TO SRI RANGANATHAR AND ANDAL THAYAR ARE PERFORMED.  

BOOK RELEASE : 1) SRI RAMANUJA – 2017, MANUSCRIPTS ARE HANDED OVER TO PRESS FOR FURTHER PROCESS.   2) BRAHMANDA MAP IS NOW READY TO RELEASE ON OR BEFORE DEEPAVALI (31.1.2016).
